What is CBD?
Cannabidiol, more commonly known as CBD, is one of more than 100 cannabinoid compounds found in cannabis and hemp plants. Hemp and CBD are well known for their potent healing properties and have been used in various forms of medicine for thousands of years.
Will your products get me high?
Not at all! Every Batch CBD product is made with certified organic hemp plants that contain less than 0.3% tetrahydrocannabinol - otherwise known as THC. This is the psychoactive ingredient found in cannabis plants that’s most known for its intoxicating effects. All of our products are third-party lab tested to ensure they are legally compliant, so you’ll never have to worry about intoxication with Batch CBD.
Will I fail a drug test if I take your CBD?
No. Traditional tests look for THC, so if all you’ve consumed is Batch CBD, you won’t have to worry about failing a drug test.
What is full-spectrum CBD?
There are three types of CBD: full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, and CBD isolate.
Full-spectrum CBD contains all of the plant’s naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, fatty acids, and nutrients. This produces what’s known as the “entourage effect” in your endocannabinoid system, where all the plant’s ingredients are said to work together harmoniously to produce more efficient results than what they’d be capable of on their own.
Broad-spectrum CBD is the same as full-spectrum but has had the THC removed during processing. Since we use hemp plants that are already low in THC, our products require less processing and are categorized as full-spectrum.
CBD isolate is pure CBD that’s been isolated from all other plant materials.
Studies have shown that due to the entourage effect, full-spectrum hemp extract produces stronger results than isolated CBD. This is the reason why we formulate only full-spectrum products made from plants that contain less than 0.3% THC.
What is the endocannabinoid system?
Every mammal has an endocannabinoid system, which is located in the central and peripheral nervous system. Your endocannabinoid system delivers receptors to every corner of your body; these receptors are responsible for helping to regulate your body’s pain and inflammatory responses, your mood and hormone levels, appetite, sleep, and other essential processes. CBD works directly with this system by giving receptors an extra boost as they travel throughout the body, which helps to achieve and maintain homeostasis.
What’s in your products other than CBD?
All of our products contain 100% certified organic CBD hemp extract, plus all-natural ingredients such as fractionated coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax, and organic essential oils. Whether it’s going on your body or in your body, we ensure that every product contains only ingredients found in nature. Every product page contains a full ingredients list.
Are there any negative side effects?
There are no known side effects to ingesting hemp or CBD products. We recommend you read each ingredient label to ensure you’re not allergic to anything before consuming.
Does CBD treat any medical conditions?
While small studies have shown CBD to help with symptoms such as chronic pain, inflammation, and nausea, there is no specific link to CBD as a cure or treatment for any specific disease or illness. We recommend talking to your doctor if you have a medical condition and you’re curious if CBD is right for you.
