Birth of Batch

Batch Apothecary was born out of a desire to help the people we love feel better, relax better, and sleep better through the healing power of CBD.

Why CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD for short) is one of the most powerful cannabinoids found in the cannabis and hemp plants, but with none of the psychoactive effects and all of the healing power. These plant cannabinoids are chemically identical to receptors located in our body’s endocannabinoid system, which is located throughout the nervous system and designed to promote homeostasis in the body. When you consume plant cannabinoids like CBD, you boost your ECS’s ability to do its job, which regulates everything from inflammatory and pain responses to mood, memory, and appetite. CBD is one way to directly communicate with your endocannabinoid system and say “hey, here’s a little boost if you need it.”

Unfortunately, just because CBD is good for our bodies does not mean that all CBD products are created equal.

Our first introduction to the CBD market was far more difficult to navigate than we had expected, and we knew we were far from the only people feeling this way. Between a lack of industry regulations, a herd of snake oil salesmen eager to make a buck, and the lack of transparency regarding what’s in a product and what it can do, we saw a need for change, and we knew we had the power to create the change we wanted to see in this industry. It wasn’t long before our first batch of pure liquid gold was in our hands, and soon after, Batch Apothecary was born.

The Batch Difference

When we sought out to create our own CBD products, we were thinking about the people who inspired us to start this in the first place: the woman suffering from chronic pain who’s struggling to find a long-term solution. The socially anxious college student who just wants to feel calm while studying. The yoga instructor who wants to soothe her muscles after a full day of classes.

Every Batch product is made using organic, lab-tested, full-spectrum CBD oil that’s free of THC and packed with everything else we love about plants: non-intoxicating cannabinoids including CBD, CBG, and CBN, flavor-filled terpenes, and healthy nutrients like fatty acids and flavonoids.
